Sexiest Nail Polish You'll Ever See + Haul

I present to you the sexiest nail polish ever...

It's Raining Men from Lippmann Collection
(it's the one on the left)
Seriously look at that bottle, look at that color, look at that lettering. Sexy, classy and sophisticated.  It applies really well and only needs two thin coats to be a nice opaque true red.

Next to it, the not so impressive Satin Doll
I really dislike this color. It's so eh, and it's shimmery. I don't like shimmer and nail polish together.

I've been wanting to try some Lippmann polishes for awhile, because the bottle is beautiful, but I didn't know if I wanted to spend $16. Well, I saw these on sale for $2 so I had to get them. I am glad I did. Now I know they are worth the money and I already have a few other colors on my list.

Moving on in the haul
Essie (From left to right)

Chinchilly - It's a nice cool grey but to be honest I mostly bought it for the name. I <3 Chinchillas.
Sand Tropez - I absolutely love this warm nude color. I want to only wear this.
Neo Whimsical - I'm saving this one for next spring.  I just can't wear lilac any other time.
Knockout Pout - A neon blue pink. It looks coral in the picture. DEFINITELY not.
Vermillionaire - It's a bright true orange. I love it but I think I need a bit more of a tan to pull this off.
Matte About You - I love this stuff. You put this on instead of a topcoat and BAM! matte nails.

I have a love hate relationship with Essie. Mostly hate because they take about three coats to get them opaque and they get really thick quickly. Even though the formulation is really unfortunate, I keep buying them because they have the most amazing colors.

CND Solar Oil -  I use it on my cuticles every time I switch up my nail polish. I don't know if it really works but I use it. \m/
Poshe Topcoat - Love this. It makes my nails so shiny and dries super fast. Love, luv, ♥.
Milani 3D Polish in HD -  I really wanted a holographic nail polish. I'm pretty excited to try this!

Ok, that's all.  Have a wonderful Sunday!

EcoTools ♥

This is kind of a review but I'm not thorough enough for one of those so this is more of just a rave.

 Hello EcoTools.
You are my favorite brushes ever. Better than MAC. Cheaper than MAC.
Before I purchased these my brush collection just consisted of MAC.  I love MAC, I was a fangirl but these knock MAC's brushes out of the park.  Now there are still a few MAC brushes I love (217 and 134) the rest are just eh.  Here is a list of why I love my EcoTools more than MAC.

No Shedding
I HATE shedding. Hate it.  Number of Ecotool hairs shed = 0. Number of MAC = a kagillion and counting.

Super Soft
Emphasis on the super.  Not one of my MAC brushes compares.

Synthetic and Ecofriendly
I like the sustainable part of these brushes and no animal cruelty!

They are Inexpensive
For 5 brushes, the travel set cost $12 for me. That's approximately $2.50 each.  So worth that price.

Negative is that some of the brushes don't have a lot of use for me.  Since they come in sets you can't choose which brush you want so you could be stuck with some useless brush.

This one is worth it all.  It is the perfect blush brush. So, so, so, so soft. It applies really well and also is the perfect size to apply blush. It comes in the Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set.

Go here, find how to buy them. You will not regret it.

Does anyone recommend any other synthetic brushes?

Blake Lively

She's so gorgeous. I love her long blonde hair. She is my hairspiration. I also love how confident she is in her body and it's not the normal suuuper skinny bod. The fact that she's dating Leonardo DiCaprio makes me hate her a little.
Leonardo is mine.

Tropical

Thrifted Tank, Motel Rocks Shorts, Tangerine Tropical Fabric.

I absolutely love the cheesy hawaiian/tropical/summer print right now. It makes me feel so summery. I want my very own hawaiian shirt which should be easy enough to find at a thrift store.
I'm not sure if the Motel shorts count, since they're more of a rose garden print, but I included them anyways.

Thrifted: Haul #1

So I went thrifting...

and I'm obsessed.
Not to the point of going all the time but thinking of it. I just really like the whole treasure hunt aspect. It's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
I will do my best to remember the prices and I included the brand names for those who are curious. With that said here it goes.

Gold Necklace ($1.99) I love the way its linked and it feels like nice quality.
Gold Knot Earrings ($.99) I absolutely love these!  They are so cute.
Silver Fan Earrings ($.99) These are really cute. They're a bit cheap, like plastic metal(?)
White Floral Ring ($3.99) I really love the design. I'm trying to start a ring collection.
Octagon Silver Ring ($1.99) It's really simple and pretty.
National Geographic from 1981 ($.39) I have no idea what I'm going to do with this but the cover was so pretty.  Maybe frame it but I don't want to damage the magazine.

White Open Knit Pull-Over from Christopher & Banks ($3.00)
I thought this would be a nice beach coverup.
Hawaiian Print Tank from Tiasa ($4.00)
I LOVE this.  It isn't the most figure flattering but I love the print.
Mint Green Cable Knit Sweater from Croft & Barrow ($4.00)
Gorgeous color.  It's a bit short but I think it makes it look cuter.
Black Open Crochet Sweater ($4.00)
No idea how to wear this. I just thought the fabric was so unique.

Along with rings I want to start a belt collection.

Green Leather Belt from Ralph Lauren ($1.99)
It's a really dark green and seems to be real.
Beaded Brown Belt ($.99)
I love the beaded detail. It's definitely a waist belt for me.
Braided Black Belt ($.99)
Super cheap quality but I wanted a really long belt.

So I have a third collection I want to start...
Random t-shirts, most with animals on them.

Yelling Moose/Caribou ($4.99) I love how artsy it looks.
Arizona Collage ($4.99) I like the navajo print and the big skull.

Anyone else have thrifting fever?

Favorite Youtube Channels of the Moment

This has nothing to do with the post but I wanted a picture and I love Okapis!

I absolutely love watching Youtube beauty and fashion videos (when I'm not reading blogs:).
I know I'm definitely not the only one.
So here are a few of the Youtubers that I watch every single one of their videos.
This is definitely not all of them, just the girls that I can think of right now.

I adore her style.

I also follow and love her blog and she just came back to youtube and hopefully stays!

I'm sure you've already watched them.  They are so inspiring for makeup!

Another very known youtuber.  I love her tutorials.

They got me into thrifting and DIYing.

Another duo of thrifters with great style.

This is definitely not all of them, just the girls that I can think of right now.
Oh and not beauty or fashion related CTFxC.  I love them.

Do you have a youtube channel or are there any youtubers you really love?

Music: M.I.A.

She's a gorgeous, interesting activist with a lot of music originality.
She's best known for Paper Planes but I think XXXO is my favorite. I love putting it on and listening to it replay over and over again.  Reminds me of summer.
Really all of her music has a summer party feel.
Sorry for the random post.  I will have more fashion and beauty up throughout the week. :)

Do you have a favorite M.I.A. song?

Nail Polish: OPI

I'm a bit of an OPI snob.  I kind of only buy OPI unless I see an absolutely beautiful color in another brand (Essie, I'm talking about you).  OPI consistently applies beautifully in only a few coats which is probably why I stay loyal to the brand and I love the names.

So here's my collection, slowly growing...

and the Top 5...
(Disclaimer: Pictures aren't quality so I linked quality swatches from true nail polish bloggers.)

Left to Right

A gorgeous shimmery opaque red. I'm normally a glitter or cream but this is such a classy red shade.

Looks like a boring brown color in the bottle but beautiful on nails.

It looks AMAZING in the sun. Sparkly and gorgeous.

I love yellow toned pinks. This one is my favorite from OPI and has a nice golden shimmer.

Really unique purple. It's rare for me to like a purple.

Is there any OPI color I should add to my collection?

Thrifted: Destroyed Shorts

I've been seeing a lot of the high waisted distressed denim shorts around and have been dyeing to try them out.  I didn't want to spend $40 plus on a pair of these since I figured it's a one season type thing.

So I ventured into the thrift store to do it myself.
I've never been in a thrift store before so I found it pretty overwhelming but I was happy to see that all jeans were 50% off at goodwill.

I bought these Levis for $3.  I was really inspired by Shenae Grime's pair and I think they turned out pretty well.
After a few hours of distressing, they went from mom jeans to trendy summer shorts.

I also bought 2 more pairs (*The pair in the middle I didn't like so I'm returning them.) Both $4.  The first pair is from Gap and the second are Abercrombie & Fitch.
I think I'm going to dye the Abercrombie's since they're a bit boring on their own.

Have you ever gone thrifting?

Megan Fox

I love her, a lot.

People try to tell me she's fake, trashy and/or a horrible actress (not denying those statements truth) but all of that doesn't deter my love.  She's hot, she knows it and works it.

Done with the Megan Fox obsession. She also dresses perfectly and has nice eyebrows. Ok, now I'm done.

Who's your celeb love?
